Captarose HR Resin (HIC)
Product Introduction
Captarose HR Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC) Resin utilizes highly rigid agarose as the matrix with an average particle size of 40 μm. Functional groups are covalently immobilized onto agarose microspheres through stable chemical bonds. The charge-free ligands enable true hydrophobic interaction chromatography without ionic interference.
The matrix of Captarose HR is chemically modified and engineered from Singarose HP, exhibiting enhanced mechanical properties. It delivers high dynamic binding capacity and resolution under elevated flow rates, coupled with low backpressure, broad applicability, and superior kinetic performance. This makes it a preferred resin for large-scale separation and purification of biomolecules, particularly suitable for intermediate and polishing steps in purification processes.
